This project included the speculative renovation of the existing building and site located at the northeast corner of the intersection of S. Mt. Prospect Road and Rawls Road in Des Plaines, IL. Improvements made to the site include re-planning of the parking lot and new landscaping throughout. The improvements made to the parking lot now allow for two-way traffic through the parking lot. Several improvements were made to the interior and exterior of the existing 8,000 S.F. building. The interior scope consisted of preparing the space for a speculative tenant by consolidating all unused utilities, removing existing deteriorated finishes, and minor repairs to the concrete slab. The exterior scope consisted of providing a new storefront entry and canopy, replacing all the windows and doors, providing new building lighting, and general masonry repair/restoration including the addition of accent brick under the windows and around the entry.
